Volunteer/Young Volunteer winners get the chance to award £750 to a Community Group AND £100 prize money. Runners-up get £500 towards a group and £50 prize money.
Community Group of the Year winners receive £1000 (runners-up get £500)

At Noon we will be holding our AGM where we will be letting our library users know what how we are doing as a Library and Community Hub. There will be Trustees and Volunteers on hand if you have any questions or suggestions as to what you would like to see in the library.

On Saturday 21st August, Lubbesthorpe Alive CIC will be staging a Community Picnic for all residents.
As part of this event, The LocalGo Team will be staging an obstacle race for teams of four people, one of whom must be over 18.
The aim is to transport several objects across a given distance, without touching the ground.
The team that records the fastest time on the day will receive a £30 voucher for Rutland Cycling for each team member from the Drummond Estate, a £50 credit voucher for ArrivaClick, and a Ride Like the Wind Cycling T-Shirt for each person.
In addition, when two teams compete against each other the winning team will also receive a prize.

Forest Medical Group, who run doctor surgeries in Leicester Forest East, are consulting with patients on a proposed relocation of the surgery on Park Drive to a purpose built medical centre in New Lubbesthorpe.

This Thursday, 12th August from 2pm to 4pm, the library is having a Family Activity Afternoon to tie in with the Summer Reading Challenge of 'Wild World Heroes'.
Using recycled materials there will be Junk Modelling, Jewellery making, bookmark decorating and more. There will also be outdoor games, mini sports, outdoor toys, as well as Lollipop decorations to make to be hung on the tree outside.
